Can anyone tell me how to braid hair using 4 pieces instead of three?

2 major sections - right and left.

small outside section from right side to inside of left.

small outside section from left section to inside of right.

keep going.

or like a basket weave?

take the four pieces in between your fingers, two in each hand , and constantly take one piece and place iot over the next and keep going, its called a fish tail
