Hair Extenstions, Lace-Front Wigs, and Hair Pieces for Young Female's Thinning Hairline?

My hair once was a source of pride, but since a horrible Colorsilk bleach incident 7 months ago, it's falling out and thinning my hairline considerably, especially at the front. Not

only is this ruining my appearance, it's killing my self-esteem

and sense of worth as a woman. :(

I'm 18, and surrounded by insensitive peers, so it's essential that any hair piece solution be unnoticeable and real-looking. My hair might grow back eventually, so I wouldn't like to shave my head or use any harsh glues that could make matters worse.

My Question:

*My BIG concern is my front and top hairline.

*Are there any lace-front wigs or hair pieces that incorporate your real hair into the look, adding volume and strands of hair to your own hairline, without having to hide/cornrow your hair beneath the wig? Something that attaches securely, is light, natural-looking, and not too costly?

first of all i want to say that i am so sorry that this has happened to you. i can't imagine what you are feeling.

i think your best bet is to have your hair cut short so that all the bad is cut off so it has a chance to be healthy and not create any further breakage. hanging onto it will do you no good.

there is nothing that i know of that you can do that will blend the front of your hair without being noticeable.

i say you should go somewhere and get a really good quality wig and put it over your hair. nobody will know. they make caps that look like pantyhose to cover your hair.

With a lace wig you can always incorporate your own wisps of hair in the front by just leaving then out of the wig when you apply it. There are also lace frontals.
