I have very very badly damaged hair & so many split ends & pieces of hair fall out every tim

That has happened to me before so here are some tips.

If your hair is that damaged, obviously you do alot to it and it will not be easy for you to stop straightening/curling/coloring/blowdryin...

So first of all I reccomend you use dove intense therapy shampoo and conditioner and heat protectant spray. I have tried MANYY products when this has occured and its my favorite by far.

Then I say you should try washing your hair at night.

You should still be able to style it but no blowdrying will help it drastically.

Spray in a heat protector before you stylee.

Last try hairstyles where no heat is required.

Like:

Braid it at night and get loos waves.

Pin back the front of your hair.

Leave it natural.

Half Ponytail

Messy bun

Scrunched hair

I really hope this helps =]

Stop everything your doing and let it repair itself. Stop blow drying, coloring, perming etc. It will come back beautiful.

Do you dye or perm your hair?

Get a good haircut. Use conditioner every time you wash your hair. Get the kind that is for dry/damaged hair.

Hair falling out: You may have low thyroid functioning %26amp; need thyroid hormone. If actual chunks are falling out you might have alopecia.

It needs to be checked out by your MD.

Good luck

how'd it get so damaged? that's a very important factor in this.

no matter how it happened, get to a salon and get a deep conditioning treatment- perhaps even two.

if it's damaged from coloring, ease up on it and don't color it so much.

if it's from using hot tools excessively, get a thermal protection spray. Pureology makes a good one but it's a hard to find brand- you can probably get something cheaper from Target.

Also, take a look at how you're washing your hair. are you washing everyday? you shouldn't have to wash more than every other day- nothing mousturizes as well as your natural hair oils, and if you wash everyday you're stripping those and not giving your hair a chance to keep itself healthy. Also, if you're using hot water it will pull out more moiture- use warm water but not hot- cool water is actually best.

I would reccomend finding somewhere that has either the Eufora or Pureology line- Pureology espeically if you have colored hair- it's made to make the color stay longer and you won't have to keep damaging your hair by re coloring all the time. it's expensive but it only takes a little bit of it to go a long way- a bottle of shampoo will last you for months upon months.

for pureology, start shampooing and conditioning with their hydrate line, and then you may want to invest in one of their treatments- they're in jars, and one is hydrating if your hair is just dry, and one is replenishing if you've been doing treatments that have been pulling the protein out of your hair. ask you stylist or an employee at the salon you buy from which would be better for you. these are really expensive products, but they last a long time, and are the most effective thing on the market.

Eufora is all aloe-based products- you'll want to get the insense moisturizing shampoo and conditioner- again, ask a stylist exactly which would be best for your hair type and if you should also add a leave in or conditioning treatment or balm.

message me if you want more specific help if your hair was damaged in a certain way. good luck!

Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

hair does not repair it self you need to cut off the split ends and start using better products that help protect your hair, as for falling out you may need to see a dr. as it may be something else. normally we loose over a 1000 hairs a day. hope this helps
