My sleeping techniques,
- Sometimes i pressure myself to sleep, and when it does not work, i get frustrated.
- I sometimes sleep with damp hair.
- I move too much on my bed.
- My pillow is a bit rough surface.
Are my sleeping techniques causing this? Or is it another problem?
I see between 20 - 40 pieces of hair on my pillow everytime i wake up everyday. Is that a bad sign?
The same happens to me, i have really long hair and i sleep with it damp all the time but i can't help it, i just go for showers at the wrong time or really late at night, even when im washing my hair, big clumps of hairs fall out.. my hair used to be really thick but now its probably half the size..
Sometimes i get worried but my aunt once told me that 100 hairs should fall from your head each day, not sure if i should believe that or not?
I'm planning on going to see my doctor next week, i think you should too.
Good luck xx

sleeping with damp hair is really bad especially if your hair is long.

It could be from hair dye usage (if you do). It could also be the onset of stage 2 syphilis (which hopefully you do not have), as at that point, your hair will completely fall out.

dont worry about it the average hair loss per day is 100 hairs what with constat wear and tear, try getting a softer pillow if this would ease your mind.

Sometimes stress does cause hair to fall out. Think of other things too. Like, do you dye/bleach/highlight/perm your hair? Or other things that might hurt it? If so, lay off it for awhile. That should lessen the problem.
