What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

Is "hoodoo" anything like Voodoo?! LOL

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

Voodoo! They would likely be trying to cast a spell of some kind. (It could be good or bad.)

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

They are attempting to cast a spell.

It could be a protective spell, an incantation for good luck or a curse.

.

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

hoodoo vodoo?

You do

Dats Who...

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

Trying to influence them, for good or evil.

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

They could be trying to keep someone close to them, or to harm them. It could be any number of things.

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

dont mess with that crap,it all comes back to YOU!

What would someone be trying to do that practices hoodoo and needs a piece of hair or clothing...??

Simple. Someone wants to control you one way or another.

I see spots and long hairlike things,i thought i had a piece of hair hanging in front of my eye? WHY

maybe you have accidently sctratched the iris of your eye. perhaps a trip to the opticians would be a good idea.

I see spots and long hairlike things,i thought i had a piece of hair hanging in front of my eye? WHY?

You may have a 'floater' as my eye doctor put it. I have something floating around in the fluid inside my eyes. They tend to 'quiet down' after a while.

I see spots and long hairlike things,i thought i had a piece of hair hanging in front of my eye? WHY?

i dont know how old you are but i would guess mid thirties or more. I too experienced this same problem. The good news is that you dont have a hair in your eye. The bad news is that you most likely have what is referred to as a floater. this is when the material inside your eye clumps up and forms a small lump which gives the appearance of something on the surface of your eye but it is actuall inside and there is nothing they can do ecept tell you to get used to it. I have to agree that the dr was right and the brain does compensate after awhile and ignore the spot. I fould that if you ask people over 40 most will say they have them and if you ask people under thirty they wont know what you are talking about.. try it

I see spots and long hairlike things,i thought i had a piece of hair hanging in front of my eye? WHY?

If you just started seeing this, see your eye doctor IMMEDIATELY! It could be a sign of a serious retinal problem and must be treated.

If you've always seen these spots, they proably are just floaters. Floaters are the break down of the gel that cushions the back of your eye. It's perfectly natural and happens to just about everyone as they age.

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

I've tried to streak my hair bright blue for some time now. My hair is dyed blue black all over and although id wish it to be more blue than it is right now.. my main concern is having bright blue pieces underneath my hair on my neck.. ive tried bleaching it as best i can without letting it fall out and ive used several different blue dyes most reccently the clairol jazzing sheer haircolor in mood indigo which i dont recommend for anyone..

does anyone have any suggestions?

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

bleaching and dying over it is really the best option, but there's always coloured extensions and wefts

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

if you have dark hair, you probably have to bleach it. sorry. thats the only way to get bright colors.

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

alright, if you use sugar free koolaid in blue, and you mix it with conditioner then i think that dyes your hair

http://mdmd.essortment.com/koolaiddyehai...

theres directions and all that good stuff

good luck!!

btw i dont think it damages your hair either

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

I put blue tips in my daughter's hair..We use Manic Panic..Her hair is a dark brown and it turned out great without bleaching..It says to use it on damp hair, we found it worked best with clean dry hair..Also, it says to use a hairdryer if you'd like the color more vivid..I'm sure it would work better with bleaching it, but I'm not a hairdresser! They make great colors and seem to hold the color the best of the ones we've tried...

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

you need the 40 volume bleach to get your hair white. let it dry and then keep the blue in as long as possible. good luck!

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

I have a bright green streak in my hair and i

use special effects "iguana green"

hair dye

its vegan friendly

it conditions your hair as you dye

and the longer you leave it in

the more vibrant and longer it stays in

you can order it or buy it at like hottopic and stuff

heres a link to their colors ^-^

http://www.specialeffectsusa.com/hair_dy...

Whats the most effective way to get bright wild color to show up in your hair?

If you bleach your hair please note that your hair may become damaged. Depending on the volume or strength of the bleach your hair may go dry and your ends may split... my advice is go to a hairdresser they will no a safer way for you to tone down your hair. Toners are better for you hair then bleaching it.

Feels like hair is stuck in my throat?

its so bothersome ive tried gargling drinking clearing my throat nothing works its not painful just annoying feels like hair or a piece of skin there that wont go down its been 3 days now

Feels like hair is stuck in my throat?

try mixing warm water and salt it doesnt taste good but it might work

Feels like hair is stuck in my throat?

Try Halls Breezers Pectin drops, you might just have a dry throat

If you take a drug test and there is a piece of hair in the sample is it contaminated and cannit be

It can be contaminated, in theory. But it practice, they'll probably just fish the hair out and run the test.

I hope this is not a strategy for beating a p**s test.. It's not a very good one. There are alot better out there.

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

My daughter twisted small pieces of her hair until it kinked up really small to her head. It looked really neat- UNTIL...she tried to take it out. It's bedtime, and we are still working on it. I am just working wih my hands, no way a brush would do at all.

LOL- she said she made it like a "florist" It did look like flowers...she is 10.

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

I have thick curly hair, so anytime i go in the wind or rain it gets the way you described it. what i do is use A LOT, and i do mean ALOT of conditioner. wash it out with regular conditioner once or twice, usuing a comb to get it as untangled as possible while you rinse it. then when youve done all you can in the bath, take leave in conditioner, spray bottle kind, and just keep using it for as long as it takes. with my hair it can take over 2 hours. and i do end up pulling quite a bit out (but theres a lot of hair, so you cant really tell, it just hurts) but theres no getting around it really. it just takes a lot of work and time. but you can do pretty well with lots and lots and LOTS of conditioner. just be patient

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

cut it off

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

I have heard if you take a dryer sheet and run it over the tangled hair that it will break up the knots and make it smell good in the process! Hope it works and let us know please!

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

put baby oil on her hair

(it works)

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

Vaseline works! Of course you gotta wash it very well afterwards.

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

creme of nature detangling shampoo will loosen it and pick at it with the pointy end of a rat-tail comb!

go get some!

good luck to ya! and no more twisties! lol

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

Johnson and Johnson has this new conditioner out in a yellow tube called something like "Buddy Conditioner". I have had the same problem with daughter's hair for a while now, and I've found that this new conditioner works the best! Leave it in her hair for about 10 (let her play in bath while waiting) before you rinse it out. It works on even the toughest tangles. You can also spray some detangler in after that but you really don't need it after using the conditioner. Good Luck.

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

try buying some HERBAL ESSENCES hair detangler and spray it all around her hair then comb it out very gently

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

I am only a year older than her and I have had it happen to me more than 5 times. My mom finds the center of the knot and cuts it. After brushing it, my hair looks fine. (Repeat it until the knot is out)

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

Pantene dangler works for me and my sister uses it too, we both have incredibly thick hair and mine is naturally curly. It gets the knots out so much easier! If that doesn't help, try putting conditioner on her dry hair and letting it sit for a bit before trying to pick through it. Also try using a comb instead of a brush and starting at the bottom then going up. If you start from the top it just pushes the knots farther down. Good luck!

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

believe it or not, an old remedy works. Mayonnaise

Any suggestions on untangling REALLY tangled hair?

put her in the bathtub full of warm water - enough to lay back and put her entire head back into it and soak it out. she might have to lift her neck backward if it is in the forhead area.

Can u buy over the counter drug tests using a piece of hair?

No. That test is very expensive and does not come over the counter. They'd phase out urine tests for the most part if the hair test was cheap enough. Companies aren't looking to spend a few hundred dollars on each person though. Compare that to $50 (last I checked). Most companies also want to know about recent behaviour. Hair tests can go back up to around 10 years (again, last I checked). But drug tests, most of them, are not over the counter. You can buy some, yes. But they are really inaccurate and can provide false positives. The real ones are sent to a lab to be analyzed. The hair one is definitly prescription. It's like if you want to buy a scalpel. Believe it or not, that's something that you have to have a prescription for. My job is to make medical devices just like that. But only doctors can have prescriptions for medical devices.

Or, are you talking about using hair as currency? Then the answer is no.

Can u buy over the counter drug tests using a piece of hair?

why not

Can u buy over the counter drug tests using a piece of hair?

I doubt if you could use a piece of hair to buy anything......

Can u buy over the counter drug tests using a piece of hair?

No, you'll have to use money like everyone else.

What do I do with my hair now?!?

I just used Revlons frost and glow highlighting kit for my darker blond and I will be the first to admit I really didn't know what I was doing. I decided not to use the cap and instead selected pieces of my hair to highlight (I see now that was a mistake) and I now have these Zack Morris from saved by the bell yellow "streaks" more like blotches and chunks going throughout my hair. Please help me!

What do I do with my hair now?!?

The *best* solution would be to go to a salon and have it professionally corrected, but that might cost you a couple of hundred bucks.

A cheaper alternative is to put a color close to your original color over it. Don't buy cheap color or your hair will be fried. Use the conditioner that comes with the color to thoroughly moisturize your hair. You can actually leave that conditioner on overnight by wrapping your hair in a plastic bag, then securing it with a clip. The next morning, rinse it really well.

Wait at least a week before you try to highlight it again, and don't do it yourself! Get a good friend or your mom or sister to help you do it artistically, so the streaks are thinner and more natural looking.

I like the double process L'Oreal color that comes with the natural shade as well as the lighter color for highlighting. The nice thing about these kits is that the highlights are just a few shades lighter than the natural color, so it comes out looking like you just came from a week at the beach, with naturally sun-lightened streaks.

Also, if you want the highlights to be the right color, you absolutely must leave the bleaching agent on the hair for as long as they say, or you will end up with reddish yellow.

Good luck!

I need pictures of people with cool hair colors. And they have to look nice, not sloppy looking.?

I used to do my hair with cool colors. Now, it's just a redish brown, and it's getting boring for me. I don't want to go a really crazy color because I work at a hospital. I'm more for the reds now. And I was thinking of a deep red with a dark brown or black underneath my bangs, and a few pieces underneath my hair. Any suggestions or pictures will be nice. Thanks!

How do I attach small wefs of hair extensions?

I want to put in a few small pieces of wefs (Hair extensions) I attached some to extenion clips, but my hair is pretty fine and the clips don't stay in too well. At least, they will come out if I pull on them. I don't know how to cornrow and I don't know anyone who does. And really, the wefs are only 2 inches wide. So I guess what I want to know is should I just glue them, or is there another way to sew them without making a cornrow?

How should my hair cut done?

Hi,Javed

This is an absurd problem of mine.I got my hair straightened 5 months ago in a reputed parlour. The very next month my hair started breaking into pieces leaving only 5" on the scalp(as if burnt hair with unequal length) leaving it to look really dull, frizzy, dry (what not every thing bad to say),reducing the volume too.I couldn't even go for any hair cut.I'm now going for an oil message regularly with coconut oil(but with a gentle message-like-babies). The condition is so worse that i'm using baby shampoo%26amp;oil now.Can I use egg conditioning? Can i use heated olive oil for message/just plain(cold). Please do suggest me a best hair cut %26amp; other solutions for my hair condition ,as soon as possible coz i'm working (in an MNC -world reputed organisation). Do you suggest me to visit your parlour(ANY IN HYDERABAD)? Put me under the right %26amp; experienced person to say the best way as you do.

Thanking You,

sravya

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

I have been using it for awhile now (two years?) and I shampoo my hair everyday because if I don't my hair gets all greasy, even if leave it for one day. Anyways a few weeks ago I notice that my scalp was getting itchy and I had the tenedency to scratch it. Soon I realize I was getting dandruff. So I switiched to Head and Shoulders but it didn't stop the itching. So I switched back to Pert Plus and now it's still itching, could it be that Pert Plus is causing this?

Also when I get out of the shower I notice that like 20 pieces of my hair falls out after I comb it? I'm worried that this shampoo is causing hair loss! I'm like 17, so have any of you guys tried this shampoo and got the same effect?

can you guys also recommend me any good shampoos and conditioners that you might use?

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

First off, it is normal to lose up to 100 pieces of hair a day, so don't worry about that.

As far as the itchy scalp goes, you may have developed an allergy to the ingredients in the shampoos you are using. We can develop allergies to anything at any time. You might try switching to a deep cleaning shampoo with a separate conditioner for a month or so. I used the Herbal Essence deep cleaning shampoo and followed it up with the the moisturizing conditioner when my hair was gunked up. I switch shampoos and conditioners every few months to keep my hair from getting coated.

Never use the two in one shampoos. I was told by my hairstylist that the conditioner in the formula actually prevents your hair from washing truly clean. It just traps bad oil on your scalp.

If that doesn't work, you might want to go to the doctor. My boss had a problem that sounds similar to yours. She ended up going to the doctor and he gave her a special shampoo that helped with the itching.

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

pert is just kind of cheap and that's why it doesn't help your hair. Try Infusism 23 it's good and not too pricy or suave is even cheaper

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

EWWWW, that stuff is awful for your hair, unless you are a child...NEVER USE 2 in !!!!!! EVER!!!! If you have to use store brands...ick...try infusium or nuetrogena. But look into using better products...they do make a difference. I use infusium ($5) two times a week and the other times i use redken ($12) so soft!

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

My mums hair dresser told her not to use 2 in 1 because shampoo opens your hair pores (or something like that) and conditioner closes them so a mix isn't good at all.

Is Pert Plus the 2 in 1 bad for your hair?

stay away from 2 in 1 because the companies use a product to keep them from separating which causes a hair loss on some people

Curly and straight hair at the same time; and it's annoying.?

My bangs are usually straight (they're also very limp and long [they go past my mouth] and they just kind of hang on both sides of my face. Unflattering.) and same with most of the surface pieces of my hair, but the underneath is curly.

I have no clue what to do with it!

Any tips/suggestions?

Curly and straight hair at the same time; and it's annoying.?

my hair is similar to yours, i think. it gets the little curly q-'s right under where my bangs form, but the rest of my hair is wavy/straight. for the bangs, i'd get them trimmed. you can do this yourself--dry cut them with a pair of scissors the way you'd like, i promise it's really easy and mess-ups aren't noticeable. then i'd take a curler and wind the hair onto the curler away from your face to create some body and stop it from just "hanging". after, take a diffuser and scruch the rest of your hair to ceate curls and give your hair a more uniform look. for the scrunching, i'd use some hair serum or texturizer while your hair is wet (i just bumble and bumble curl conscious cream and alterna hemp texturizing glaze) to stpo frizz and help your hair curl more easily. it's really easy and takes 5 min.

:)

Curly and straight hair at the same time; and it's annoying.?

Well, don't cut it too short, I don't like dikes.

Curly and straight hair at the same time; and it's annoying.?

try getting lots of layers, nose length infront, itll show ur curly with out it being too....unworkable.....

hope i helped!

Aquage hair product?

A stylist gave me this Aquage Transforming Paste to use on my hair. I have very short hair, basically the length of my avatar over there...how to i use this to get my hair to look piece-y?

Aquage hair product?

This is an awesome product. Basically, you put about a dime size amount on your hand, rub them together then rub that throughout your hair moving the pieces where you would like them to be. You are basically molding your hair with it!!

How to walk on my hair?

Being a lot bored, yesterday I picked 987 pieces from my hair, tied them one by one to eachother. Thus I had a thin but long rope. I tied the rope from the door of the lounge to the door of my room. Then I stepped onto it to walk on my hair. But I failed to do that because I have no experience in walking like an acrobat. The rope is still in the house waiting for me to walk on it.

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a r

I live in Texas. Licensed hair stylist messed up my highlights so bad, they looked like cheetah spots all over my hair. One thick piece of highlight trned green and had hair fall out in a small place on scalp that left a bloody spot for about a week. I called hair stylist and she avoided me and got the owner of the salon to call me back. Owner was very rude and un-coperative. Told me I would not get my money back! But that I could come in to get it fixed....I said no way! I had to pay to get it corrected and I want to know my rights and if I have a chance in winning in Small Claims Court in Texas.

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a refund?

you CAN take it to small claims court, but unfortunately, it's not worth it. i was so close to taking my ex roomates, i went to the clerk of courts and found out all the info i needed. you have to PAY to take them, i forgot exactly how much, and then besides the main fee, there are a few other fees. also they're not REQUIRED to show up, like a normal court date. if they dont show up, all that can really happen is a portion of the money rightfully owed to you will come from their next pay check, to you, if the judge issues it. and it will only be as much as what you paid. which isnt even worth it because you'll have paid more just to take them to court.

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a refund?

ok im a hairstylist ......and really you should have went back into the salon to get it fixed.......thats what salons do .......(redo's)....and if you already got it fixed,,,,,,,there is no proof...not really worth ur time

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a refund?

If the owner did not handle this situation to your satisfaction, it may be worth a small claims court trip. A reptable salon should have insurance to cover such claims. Investigate our options locally. There may be free legal advice available in your area.

I do hope you documented your experience by way of photos. This kind of experience is not one any salon would want to be known for and it is a shame the salon owner made no effort to make good on this situation. It is possible that your stylist was a booth renter, in which case the salon owner is not liable for her actions and has no control over her assets or fees charged (to my understanding) as the stylist is considered an independednt contractor within her salon. In this case, you should be dealing with the stylist directly.

Weigh the benefits here versus the cost of filing the claim. Will you be paying more for the chance at getting reimbursed than it's worth?

I am apalled to hear that a professional, salon owner at that, treated you this way. I wish you the best of luck!

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a refund?

You may have to find out where to look this up, cuz, I don't know, but, in Washington state, you have up to 7 years to place a lawsuit against a hair salon. So, you could take lots of pictures and go to court. She should have fixed it for free, not wanting to make you pay again. That is not right.

What are my rights if a hair stylist(@ a hair salon) messed up my hair and wouldn't give me a refund?

well of course they should fix it i find it strange that they won't but i find it hard to believe ur story now the cheetah spots maybe but thats weird bleach never turns hair green so that is not true maybe orange but never green the problem is you have too much damage in ur hair and too much dyes i just know it...you need a good cut and to go darker for a while no more bleaching

I bleached my dark brown hair to a red-orange color about a month ago. I now want to go blonde,?

will i be able to this without bleaching it again? When i bleached it the first time, my red- orange hair didnt come out even. There were some pieces of my hair that went a light blonde color, but it was uneven. If i were to dye it blonde, would it also come out uneven because some of my hair is already blondish, or should i just get a dark blonde to cover the light spots? Any suggestions? And i would prefer to this myslef because last time i went to the salon i payed way to much for something that i could have done myself! and i didnt even like how it came out, it wasnt what i wanted

I bleached my dark brown hair to a red-orange color about a month ago. I now want to go blonde,?

You get what you pay for. It sounds like your new to this so let me let you in on some facts. yes your hair will stay uneven and yes if you try to dye it blond the lighter strands as of now will continue to get lighter than the darker ones.... those will just go to an off color red-orange and the whole thing will look splotchy. I suggest you take the time to go to the salon and have it done professionally. Why because it will save you alot of extra time and headaches. Otherwise just go back to dark brown because believe me if it is already uneven in color it is going to only get worse as you try to go blonde and if your not waiting the correct amount of time inbetween your hair will start to break from all the chemicals.

I bleached my dark brown hair to a red-orange color about a month ago. I now want to go blonde,?

You have a couple options. In order to go lighter blonde, you are going to have to use bleach, regardless. They do have bleached hair are violet/blue based that should help cancel out the orange.

Think about it this way. You're hair is already uneven.. you are putting the same product on all of that hair (thats already uneven) and letting it process for the same amount of time, so it will probably still be uneven unless you're trying to reach a white-ish bleach blonde. Then, it will just be pure white, and you could apply a toner over it.

That would be very damaging for your hair.. but still an option.

The other choice, to cover up the orange, would be to go a level darker in hair color than what you already are in an ash/blue based color for a toner, to cancel out the orange.

I bleached my dark brown hair to a red-orange color about a month ago. I now want to go blonde,?

What happened is that you probably didn't leave the bleach on long enough because it sounds like it didn't get out of the reddish-orange stage. Thats the stage it reaches before it begins to blonde. You also have to make sure that you do the roots last because they blonde faster because of the heat from your head. If you want to go blonder, you'll proabably have to use bleach again but make sure you leave it on long enough. Also, to help restore you hairs' health and shine use a heavy conditioner with proteins to fill the breakage of your hair. Hope that helps!

Garnier Nutriesse Bleach Blonde is a good brand.

I bleached my dark brown hair to a red-orange color about a month ago. I now want to go blonde,?

Wait more than a month between dyes, you're gonna fry your hair!!!

I have fine hair but it started becoming brittle and dry two years ago, I don't blow dry or use

I have fine hair and I take good care of it; I don't blow dry or use harmful products on it, but around two years ago I noticed some really wavey and brittle hairs growing! I didn't care back then because they were unnoticible but now most of the hair starting from my hairline (which started receding BTW) to the top of my head is brittle, sooooooooo dry and lifeless! I tried several conditioners, moisturizing shampoos and the sorts but nothing worked! I went to a salon and the guy there used a bristol brush and a blow dryer on it which made my hair look like the way it used to be (FOR A DAY, it got back to horrible after I washed it the next day) I don't recoginze my hair anymore! any piece of info can be helpful plzzzzz T_T

Have you switched your shampoo? Do you have hard water? Hard water has minerals that may be weighing your hair down. You should try getting a conditioning treatment at a salon and finding a leave in conditioner. If your hair line is receding and your hair is thinning i would definitly try Nioxins thinning hair line. You could also try using a clarifying shampoo every week or so and a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for the other days.

Hair Wrapping. How is it done?

Like with string...i'm not really sure if thats what its called but I was thinking of wrapping pieces of my hair with purple string for warped tour next thursday. If anybody has any tips on how its done I'd really appreciate it.

Hair Wrapping. How is it done?

MATERIALS:

3 of your best colors of DMC Embroidery Floss

3 beads

Scissors

3" square piece of cardboard

Dental floss or heavy thread

Ruler

A friend to help

Instructions follow for approximate length of floss strands needed.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Measure your hair length and add 96" for the length of floss needed to start wrapping.

2. Cut a slit in the cardboard square from one

side to the center. Have a friend grasp a small

lock of your hair, either at the hairline, along hair

part, or at the base of neck behind ear. Slip your

lock of hair through the slit in cardboard and

slide as close as possible to your head.

3. Hold all strands of floss together and fold in half to find the

center. Wrap center of floss around your hair and make a knot tightly around hair as close to cardboard as possible.

(If knot slides, pull it tighter before wrapping.)

4. Have a friend hold all of the strands of floss and your hair except the first wrapping strands (marked "A"), which your friend will begin to tightly wrap around your hair and other floss strands, starting at the knot. While your friend wraps your hair, you can help by keeping long strands of floss untangled. It may be easier to loosely ball-up the wrapping strands when in use. Continue wrapping the lock of hair for

approximately 1".

5. Using the "B" strands, tie 14 square knots (click here for square knot instructions) which equals approximately 1".

6. Repeat Step 5, using "C" strands.

7. Repeat Step 5, using "A" strands.

8. Repeat Step 5, 6, and 7 three times.

9. For beaded tails, thread a bead (See Step 9 Illustration) onto the ends of two strands of like color floss, then tie a knot below bead, varying the tail lengths from 1" - 2" and trim. For easy threading of beads: Use a 10" length of heavy thread or dental floss, fold in half and thread the cut ends through bead, leaving 2" loop on one side of bead. Place the four filler cords through the thread loop and pull loop and floss through bead hole.

10. To remove the Rapper hair accessory, carefully clip the slip knot and gently slide off your hair, with the help of your friend or a parent -- being careful not to cut your hair!!

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

When I get ready to blow dry my hair i put silk therapy oil on it and run it through my hair, it feels fine. As soon as I turn on the blow dryer and try to dry it I cant even get a brush through it and it is falling out. It is only happening on the bleached part,.. what can I do?!?! it hurts to blow dry and pieces of my hair are breaking off and falling out!!! HELP!

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

first of all your are killing your hair with heat dont do that just let it dry naturally and you may not have washed all the bleach out wash your hair really good and leave the conditioner on it and let it air dry do that for a few days and if it doesnt stop you may have over processed your hair and need to go to a salon

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

you are not supposed to do that! the oil is to smoothen your hair, when you start to blow dry it, you are basicly frying your hair!

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

You are cooking the oil ... try using a regular conditioner and skipping the blow-dry until you make sure you haven't damaged your hair too much between the bleaching (highlighting) chemicals and the heat from the dryer ... you might have to get the damaged ends cut off to keep the damage from expanding ...

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

quit blow drying your hair. The bleach did some damage to your hair, and now with heat drying, you are making it worse. Let your hair air dry or if you are going to dry it, don't put the oil on it. Use a lower heat for blow drying, and try a shampoo that is heat protective. Dove has a new one out.

talk to your hairdresser if it persists.

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

Stop touching it, throw a hat on, and head to the nearest salon.

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

well i dought its the blow dryer, i got highlights a few times and in the begining ur hair dose start falling out alot i. it shud stop 3 weeks after getting ur hair done.

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

put some sort of oil treatment in your hair before blow drying it, this will help from you hair getting so dry and breaking off.

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

go back to your stylist or go to a Sally beauty supply store and purchase an olive oil treatment.squeeze afew drops into palms of hands and massage thru towel dried hair

HELP!! Just Highlighted my hair, now when I blow dry it is breaking and falling out....?

You either didn't do it right or your hair was just not strengthened enough for highlights. Did you say you did it yourself?

Get it professionally done. You can't go wrong with that.

How to get color out of hair?

I have naturally light blonde hair. I wanted some depth in my hair so I pulled pieces of my hair thru a highlighting cap. I purchased some color in a dark ash blonde thinking that this would do the trick. Now it looks like allmy hair is dark ash blonde. I know know that I wanted it chunkier and to get that I need to foil it. How do I strip this color out and if there is a natural way I would appreciate it. Please help!

How to get color out of hair?

There are some commercial products to remove dye from hair, and a few home potions and processes.

Color Fix by Jheri Redding is designed to remove unwanted permant hair color, and controlled usage allows color correction to specific areas, either full or slight color corrections.

Loreal Color Zap gently washes away all permanent haircolor. Ideal for color correction, removal of dark shades, muddy, uneven results or color build up. Leaves hair ready for immediate re-coloring. Loreal Effasol Color Remover washes away permanent haircolor, leaving hair ready for recoloring. Can be used with water or developer.

Jerome Rusell's Punky Color Punk Off is an easy to use gel that will cleanse your skin from hair dye stains.

Roux Clean Touch is a gentle formula that allows you to remove dye from hair and haircolor from skin and scalp. Removes excess color from hair ends and assists in removing stains from clothing.

Home remedies include this one:

Hot Oil treatments, hairspray, shampooing and exposure to water will gradually fade hair dye.

To remove the last bit of residue or stain on the hair (or to get color out immediately) make up a small batch of bleach mixture and add it to 2 tablespoons or so of shampoo in a cup. Stir it up.

Shampoo your hair with this mixture, "kneading" the hair. Start at the roots and work your way down to the end, and then back up.

You should see the color disappear right before your eyes.

How to get color out of hair?

My hairdresser told me along time ago about the only thing to do immediately would be to buy some cheap shampoo and was repeatedly over and over. good luck!

How to get color out of hair?

You need to go to a professional and have them do it. You don't want to screw your hair up.

How to get color out of hair?

you can try using a clarifying shampoo...such as redken hair cleansing creme or aveda hair detoxifier..or something like these and shampoo several times. otherwise...i'm sorry to say...you'll need to go to the salon and get it fixed. they may need to throw a few highlites back in to break-up the dark.

please note to anyone who reads this and i'll use caps to make sure the point is taken...DO NOT USE ASH COLOR OVER BLOND HAIR...ESPECIALLY HIGHLITED HAIR IF DOING THIS YOURSELF.

ash color has a range of tones from green to blue to violet. going over blond hair with these tones without a professional formulating this for you can result in grayish/greenish sometimes even blue/purple looking hair.

you could end up spending a fortune and damaging your hair having to correct these mistakes.

ask friends about their salons or call around and ask if they specialize in corrective color and see about getting a consultation and in the future...leave the coloring to the professionals. hope this helps.

White Hair?

Is growing white hair at a young age normal? Recently I just pulled out 4 pieces of white hair from my head. What causes it?

White Hair?

White hair is caused by lack of pigmentation in the hair. If it happens at an early age there is not much you can do about it but dye it or learn to live with hit. My dad's cousin's wife had white hair all of her life and her son also developed right after high school.

White Hair?

your getting old.

White Hair?

My father had snow white hair at the age of 9

White Hair?

Usually stress or genetics..... or sometimes it means the hair follicle is dead.....you shouldn't pull them out though.... because if you pull one out 6 more will come to its funeral so dying your hair is the best bet...... at least your not balding.... :)

White Hair?

Well, you havent told us your age...

But white hair can happen at any age... I am thinking here that traumatic experiences can bring it on. I used to work with a 20 year old guy that had a motorbike accident and as a result of the trauma he had a white stripe of hair sweeping across his forehead... in the days when that wasn't a fashion statement.... but then he was an ArchItect so obviously a trend setter!

Haven't seen him in years now but I think it grew out.

White Hair?

some people have this happen at different ages, a friend of mine was gray at 21, so don't freak out

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

My hair shedds excessively everyday. I shedd over 100 strands a day. I am always finding pieces of my hair on everything. sometimes when I just run my fingers through my hair I have about 5 or 6 strands in my hands. My hair is natural and I don't put any chemicals in it. I flat iron my hair once every two weeks .

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

I agree with LML visit the BHM board they provide alot of info for AA hair....Great tips!

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

Thanks Girl! Report It

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

Stop taking chemo. PetsMart should have something.

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

I used to have this problem, also. My mother-in-law who is a hair dresser suggested using a shampoo with Tea Tree extracts in it. It's a shampoo that smells extremely minty. This worked very well and I no longer shed nearly as much. Just a thought: Stress also ups the amount of hair you are shedding, so if you are under any stress, that could be a reason.

What can i use to help my hair stop shedding?

Try a really deepening condition for your hair.

Go to a hair salon and tell them about your

problem they should recommend the best

conditioner that will work best with your hair.

And when you are done taking a shower,

you should use leave in conditioner, its in

a spray bottle. So when you are out of the

house your hair still looks silky smooth and

since it isn't as rough not as much hair will

come out when you run your fingers through

your hair. Think about it, if you had really

thick and rough hair, more hair is most likely

to fall out because it is brittle, dry, and damaged

but if you have smooth, silky, nourished hair

then your hair is most likely to stay in longer.

Good luck!

I want to get this particular hair cut, but I need some help when it comes to maintenance etc...?

Okay, basically I have long brown wavy ish hair but I have ALOT of it %26amp; its not styled in any particular way right now. This is a picture of it: http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z192/... I'm the girl on the left. Anyway, I wanna get this hair cut: http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/cur... Best plan is to go to a salon, I know that much, but I have a few questions. With my hair type, am I gonna have to do alot of maintaining when I get up in the morning, like am I gonna have to use alot of product? I know I have to thin out my hair because I have alot of it, and I have to straighten my bangs and the tips, which is easy, but as for the little pieces of wavy hair on the top, am I gonna wake up and it'll be that way, or will I have to work on it? Like I'm wondering if it'll be the kind of thing where if I'm lazy in the morning, I can just leave it natural and it'll look good... Thank you :)

I want to get this particular hair cut, but I need some help when it comes to maintenance etc...?

You will have to straigten it every morning, and style it to get those looks your going for! a lot of work I must say... have you ever considerd getting your hair permatley starigtend. Theres not many ways to style curly hair, if you want it staright, do it permatley, it will keep it in a lot better shape then having to di it everyday....

I want to get this particular hair cut, but I need some help when it comes to maintenance etc...?

if you are not going to wash it every day then straightening it on top should last just fine and all you should have to do is maybe scrunch the ends in the morning. very little maintenance and if it looks bad you can always put it up that day. hope this helps

You could have your dentist check that out for you. In the meantime, don't be tempted to shave back there, the gag reflex can be disasterous.

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

Ok I highlighted my hair (blonde) %26amp; now want to go an all over dark brown (I'm naturally a light brown)...

I've been told that I have to dye the highlighted areas a chestnut to make it a dark brown is that true?.....

Because its gonna be hard to dye just a few pieces of my hair!...

Many Thanks To Anyone That Helps x x x

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

My sister has naturally medium brown hair, and then highlighted some pieces blonde, but did not like how it looked. To fix it we dyed all her hair another shade of medium brown, and the highlighted pieces blended right in and didn't look any different from the rest of the hair.

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

i honestly dont think that it would matter at all. so u think u should just dye all ur hair- im not a pro at dyeing or anything thats just my opinion.

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

you would have to dye the pieces that are highlighted a darker color otherwise you will have different colored highlights after u dye your own hair...if you still want the highlighted look then just dye ur whole head the color you want, if not then you will have to make the highlights darker...

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

Do you really wan 'n' answer ?

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

You DO need to put some red back into the highlighted areas, but you can do it with an all over colour! Just make sure the colour you use mentions something like copper, red, any form of red really!

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

I don't think so. You should just dye it all or pick a shade that will work with the highlights. It shouldn't matter. Hope that helps!

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

If the blonde highlights are in good condition they should just blend in, otherwise they might have a reddish tint to them.

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

you need to add a chesnut colour (or summat with red) if not it will do a crappy greeny brown colour. the red from chesnut or a dark red softens the tone to the brown you will be putting on

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

you need to get a dye that is a shade ethier darker than your natural colour and apply all over. please do not use a colour stripper this ruins your hair

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

If the highlighted is hair is a pale blonde, then it might run the risk of turning greenish, if the dye you put on it has any ash tones in it. Sometimes you have to replace the red undertones in order to match the color you are dyeing it.

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

I've just gone from having highlighted hair to an all over brown. The hairdresser put a light brown on first which dulled the blonde down, then put a reddy/brown over which made it look rich and healthy.

My highlights did start showing through after a few washes, but they looked liked natural highlights. Just had my hair done a second time where i've had a chesnut colour through and it looks fab!

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

i had the same problem except im a natural blonde and i had low lites put in but then wanted to go back to all over blonde. if i was u i would give ur hair a few washes using vosen shampoo it will help strip the blonde colour out of ur hair . then just use ur natural shade dye as usual even if it does mean that the streaks u had blonde are a little different to the rest of ur hair it will look more natural but if ur not happy with it id do it again im no expert so dont take my word for it ha ha but ive been evry colour under the sun and i aint ever turned out with a nitemare hair colour so good luck and let me know how u get on .

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

You can dye your hair all over dark brown. I've been dying my hair since I was 18 I am now 42. I went from every color imaginable, from platinum blonde to black, I never had any problem dying it one color from the blonde to brown. But one thing you should keep in mind....start the dark dye on your streaks first then wait 2-3 minutes then apply to the rest of your hair. Use a shampoo that's safe for dyed hair or if oyu have the store bought hair dye, there should be a conditioner that comes along with it. Your hair must be clean 24 hrs before you apply hair dye, the dye won't take to your hair is

dirty.

Have fun

Hair Dye Problem PLEASE HELP ME!?

It should be fine to put the colour on all over. The highlighted sections may take slightly lighter and may throw the colour off a bit after a while. It depends on how processed the highlights are.

If the highlights aren't too light then chances are it still has some gold tone in it and therefore there is no need to add anymore to it. If it is quite light then you are risking it going a bit ashy.

It might be wise to get a dark red brown to be on the safe side at first. You could then just go for the dark brown the next time you redo it and you've repleced the gold/red tone already.

My hair falls out when i take it out of my cornrows?

Nexxus Hemutress shampoo and conditioner works wonders. Also hair product that put moisture in you hair is good. NOT HAIR GREASE! moisturizers! Also alternate braid moistening spray with a spray on leave in conditioner. INFUSIUM23 is good one.

My hair falls out when i take it out of my cornrows?

My hair falls out when i take it out of my cornrows?

you are supposed to lose hair every day so when you are taking your braids out the hair that you were supposed to lose is just wrapped in the braids and it just looks like big chunks are coming out at one time. it is nothing out of the ordinary my hair does the same thing when i get cornrow braids.

Hair Wrapping. How is it done?

little strands?

put a clear elastic band at the bottom and wrap the string around.
